Surrounded by National Forest, Camp Roland is located 3-1/2 miles from
Bastian, Virginia on State Route 614 just off I-77.
The 78 acre camp has two shower houses, dining hall, eight cabins, seven
other activity buildings, and four shelters in the field tent camping area.
Camp Roland offers a wide variety of outdoor opportunities including:
fishing, hiking and camping. Access to the Appalachian Trail is only minutes
away.
Camp Roland is located near Bastian, Virginia. From Bluefield take I-77
to Bastian Exit, turn right. Turn left onto Route 52 for 50 feet. Turn right
onto Route 614. Follow 614 for 3.5 miles until you see a Red Caboose. Turn
left at gate and sign.
