CUB SCOUT DAY CAMP

INFORMATION

CAMP FEES

The fee for Cub Scout Day Camp is $55.00 per boy. There is a $10 discount for registrations received by the Buckskin Council 30 days before the opening day of each day camp. The $10.00 discount still applies to New Tiger Cubs signed up in May and June even if it is less than 30 days to the start of day camp that they are attending. If you show up at day camp and are not pre-registered, the fee is $65.00. The fee provides program and craft supplies, a day camp patch, a camp t-shirt and a totem – a leather medallion used by the campers to keep track of their daily activities.

Camp scholarships are available for boys in need. Contact your day camp director for more information. Deadline for scholarships is two weeks prior to day camp start.

WHAT TO BRING

1. Play Clothes! Wear socks and shoes.
2. Sack lunch each day. These are kept in coolers.
3. Hat to shield face from sun.
4. Swimming

Trunks and towel, if applicable. Mark all personal items with your camper’s name.

Some camps have additional items that Cub Scouts are asked to bring such as baseball gloves on a certain day. This information is provided after registration.

Dress for the weather – Day Camp goes on rain or shine!

PARENTS: If your Cub Scout is going to be car-pooling on any given day, Camp/Den Leaders will need to be notified in writing. If one parent or another is NOT to be picking up the Cub Scout we need that in writing as well. This request is to insure the Cub Scout has a Great Experience and at all times the camp is aware of each and every Cub Scout’s safety.

HOW TO REGISTER

Complete your Health Information & Registration Form. Submit it, along with your fee to your Pack Day Camp Coordinator, who sends all the Pack’s registrations together to the Scout Service Center.

Individual checks should be made to your local unit, and the Pack Day Camp Coordinator will make one payment to the Buckskin Council, BSA. Payments must be turned in 30 days before the start of camp to receive the $10 discount per boy.

REGISTER EARLY!

Registration forms and fees are due to the Pack Day Camp Coordinators or Cubmaster two weeks before the camp registration deadline.
