as soon as possible on Friday evening.
There will be a Cracker Barrel (snack time) on Friday, but supper is
not included.
The following Waterfront procedures will be in effect at Dilley’s
Mill:
All swimmers (boys and adults) must be tested by the waterfront
staff to determine what areas of the lake you will be allowed to
swim in. This is also required for the boating activity. Plan to
have swim check done on Friday evening, or during Waterfront
rotation on Saturday. This is a required safety procedure for
participation in Waterfront Activities. The test only takes a few
minutes.
The activities for the weekend will include Nature, Scout Craft,
Boating, Archery, BB’s, Handicrafts, Hiking, Fishing, a Campfire and
much more. This program is designed to give the Webelos Scout and their
adult partner a sampling of Boy Scout Activities and to familiarize them
with the facilities at Buckskin Scout Reservation.
Weekend schedules and T-shirts will be handed out at check-in.
Webelos advancement sheets will be available to record achievements
completed while at Webelos Weekend. (If you wish to bring a Webelos
Handbook to record achievements, that is alright also.)
A fishing tournament will be held during free time on Saturday. If
you wish to participate, bring your fishing gear.
All meals will be held in the Dining Hall except for Saturday evening
which each of us will cook ourselves. Plan accordingly.
