What is Exploring?
The Exploring program is a career education program that can be designed for many different career paths. Exploring promotes the development of leadership, self-confidence, and social skills, along with other pivotal skills for living a full and productive life.
Exploring is for young men and women between the ages of 14 and 20. Students are expected to have completed at least the 8th grade to begin the Exploring program.
What is Learning for Life?
Learning for Life is a nation-wide subsidiary of the Boy Scouts of America, although it is not considered a traditional Scouting program, without uniforms or certain other traditional elements. Learning for Life is open to boys and girls from kindergarten through high school, and encourages the development of self-esteem, life skills, education, and ethical decision-making skills.
