Summer Camp is the highlight of a Scout’s year. Buckskin Council is offering five weeks of Summer Camp to choose from at Camp Kootaga.
Camp Kootaga, part of the George A. Stevenson Scout reservation, includes 500 acres of rugged woodland in the mighty Hughes River Valley in Walker, WV. The river almost makes our camp an island in the wilderness. The reservation encompasses acres of hilly woodlands, which makes it a natural environment for the outdoor activities of scouting. The topography ranges from 600 feet above sea level to over 800 feet above sea level at Wind Caves. There are plenty of opportunities for you and your troop to get away from the center of camp to experience nature or have some quality time together.
Bring your troop to Summer Camp for an experience you'll never forget.
