You’re invited to join us on Tuesday, February 10th for one of our favorite nights of the year — the Kootaga District Recognition Dinner at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Mineral Wells, starting at 6:00 PM.
This is our chance to slow down, reconnect with one another, and celebrate the volunteers who make Scouting happen every day. From brand-new leaders making their first impact to long-time Scouters whose dedication spans decades, we’ll be recognizing individuals whose service has made a real difference in the lives of youth across our district.
The evening will start with a short District Committee meeting, followed by a catered dinner and our awards presentation. To add a little extra sweetness to the night, please bring a dessert to share with 6–8 people.
A big thank-you to Troop 86 for hosting this year’s event! The cost is $5 per person, $8 per couple, or $24 per table of six. Please register ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
Most importantly, we need your help identifying the people who deserve recognition. Please submit your nominations using the form below and return it to the Parkersburg Scout Office or email it to christopher@cbbmm.com by Friday, January 23rd.
