Scouting America has been developing leadership, citizenship, service, and personal fitness in young people for 116 years. Thanks to your generous gift each year scouting continues to instill good moral character in thousands of young people in the Buckskin Council.
With your help we can achieve the $465,000 goal. Included is a donation brochure and honoree giving level sheets.
We plan to celebrate this achievement at the FOS Leadership Luncheon on May 28, 2026. It will be held on the floor of the arena at the University of Charleston Innovation Center starting at 12:00 noon.
This year we are honoring Brad & Alys Smith with the Good Scouter award in recognition of service, commerce & economic development and exceptional generosity to our youth, families, community and state.
Our Corporate Good Scouter Award recognizes City National Bank, a company which has demonstrated the values of Scouting. Skip Hageboeck will be accepting the corporate award at the celebration luncheon.
No ticket is required but a minimum contribution of $300 is requested to attend the celebration. You will be asked to confirm your attendance at the luncheon when you are contacted.
Our youth need our value-based program now, more than ever and your support is crucial to delivering the core values of scouting to our young people.
